The Barbara Eveland Memorial Camp Fund is a special division of EF2.

It sends dozens of kids to 4H summer camp in and around Lake County, Florida. On the Bus!

The Barbara Eveland Memorial Camp Scholarship was established in honor and memory of Mrs. Barbara Eveland and her belief in the value of the 4-H camping program.

She was a faithful financial supporter of 4-H summer camp for years, and desired for that tradition to continue into the future.

She was inducted into the Florida 4-H Hall of Fame in 2002.

  • Dunklin Memorial Church

    OUR HISTORY
Established in 1962 by Brother Mickey Evans and his wife Laura Maye, who had a dream from God to start a "camp" for alcoholics to come and find freedom from their addiction.

    OUR MISSION
We are a Christian regeneration program for men in addiction. We offer a 11-month long residential program where men can be rescued (from themselves and their addiction), redeemed (to a right relationship with Jesus, set free from bondage), and restored (to their families and friends), through the message of the Gospel.

  • The Arc Nature Coast

The Arc Nature Coast was established in 1972 by a small group of citizens concerned with the lack of services and activities for adults with developmental disabilities. At that time the organization acquired 30 acres of naturally wooded land on Neff Lake Road and has provided services from that location since.

Today The Arc Nature Coast serves more than 180 individuals and their families each year from 12 staffed locations. Utilizing a unique community support team approach, The Arc Nature Coast is able to provide highly individualized supports to achieve optimum personal outcomes.

  • The IceHouse Players

On September 17, 1948, residents of Mount Dora met to discuss forming a little theater. Enthusiasm was so great that officers were elected that very night. Within days, a former ice plant was located, and although it needed much work, it was acoustically perfect. With a lease in hand, The IceHouse Players were on their way!

The IceHouse Players opened to a full house on February 7, 1949 with "Return Engagement." The troupe continued to produce quality theatrical performances in the converted ice plant for ten years.

In 1957, on land donated by the municipality, the current 270-seat facility was built; it opened in the fall of 1958 with "The Solid Gold Cadillac."

In 2011, a major renovation of the lobby, terrace, box office and landscaping was launched with an extraordinary gift from The Sonnentag Foundation. Through the largesse of Clarence and Chris Kolek and a number of additional donors, the project reached its stunning completion in November, 2011.

  • Cornerstone Hospice Foundation

    Our Purpose

The Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, a 501-c-3 organization, is led by people from your community who volunteer. Their purpose is to raise money for our community programs, for our Cornerstone Hospice houses and especially for people who truly have no method of payment for the hospice care they deserve.

There is always someone or something that will benefit from your donation to the Cornerstone Hospice Foundation. But one of the ways to be involved can be through various events created by our Foundation Board who are great at putting the 'fun' into 'fundraising”!
